Mark A. Broussard, D.D.S.
Mark A. Broussard, DDS, returned to his hometown of Crowley in 1997 to begin his career in family dentistry. He feels it is a privilege to be able to provide dental care for his family and friends in the community where he grew up.
In order to provide the best care available to his patients, Dr. Broussard continues his education in the latest dental techniques. He has attended numerous continuing education courses, including those at the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry and the LSU Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum, one of the best programs on cosmetic dentistry in the country. He continues to help make state-of-the-art dental procedures available here in Acadiana.
Dr. Broussard brings his knowledge of dentistry and his caring personality together to provide beautiful smiles with a warm, friendly touch.
Dr. Broussard graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 1996. During his years at LSU, he received special recognition in the C. Edmund Kells Dental Honorary Society, the Horace G. Wells Senior Student Award, and the 1996 General Dentistry Award. He furthered his education after graduation by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at LSU. He entered into an associateship with Dr. John F. Taylor in 1997, and the two became partners in 1999. They opened an office in Eunice, La in 2004, and were joined by Dr. Stuart Taylor in 2005.
Dr. Broussard is married to the former Diana Cramer, and they have four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching and playing sports, and exercising. He is a lector at St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley. He is a member of the Crowley Kiwanis Club and has served on the Crowley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Dr. Stuart Taylor
Stuart F. Taylor, D.D.S. began practicing dentistry in the New Orleans area in the summer of 2003. While in New Orleans, he worked in both a general practice as well as a pediatric practice, where he gained valuable experience working with children. A native of the city of Crowley, Dr. Taylor returned to his hometown in May of 2005 along with his wife, Kristy.
A graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry, Dr. Taylor has made a commitment to advancing his dental education through courses that include cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, TMJ disorders and periodontal disease. Dr. Taylor is excited about helping people maintain beautiful as well as healthy smiles.
Away from the office, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid sports fan and loves the outdoors.
Dr. Taylor is also a member of numerous dental associations which include the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Acadiana District Dental Association as well as the Acadiana Dental Study group and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lara Henderson Leonards
Lara Henderson Leonards, DDS, is a native of Iota and joined the Acadiana Smiles team in July 2016. She really enjoys serving the community she calls home and working in the wonderful dental practice she grew up in.
Dr. Henderson Leonards graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where she was a member of the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. During her time at LSU she received the Clinical Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit. Following dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UT San Antonio. During her residency, she received advanced training in IV sedation and implant dentistry. She is committed to staying up to date in both sedation and implant dentistry by attending multiple continuing education courses with the Academy of General Dentistry and the Spear Study Club.
Dr. Henderson Leonards married Dr. John Leonards in December 2016. They enjoy being back home in south Louisiana and spending time with family and friends.
